We make every book that we publish worthy of critical acclaim and reader affection. We work to give all of our authors a national stage so they can spread their message, grow their audience and build their business.

Here is how we work:

  • We are selective about our authors. We publish only a few books a year (between 5 and 10) and we spend a great deal of time working with each author on his or her book to ensure that it reflects the author's intent and that it speaks powerfully to the author's intended audience. We pour our resources into producing unique quality work. We design and market our books so that they're positioned for big sales. We negotiate extraordinary retail placements, and we support our sales force with promotions and incentives to keep our books selling for years after publication.
  • We serve a different master. Though most major publishers position themselves to cater to the changing demands of retailers, Cranberry Press is engineered to serve our authors and their audiences. Rather than simply unloading inventory on retailers for one-dimensional profits, we use our distribution clout and sales history to further the careers of our authors and create multi-dimensional sales. We secure a great deal of highly visible shelf space at national bookstore chains and airport bookstores We build follow-up sales and promotions based on early success. And we continue with backlist sales to ensure longevity and continuing impact in the marketplace.
  • We provide individual attention. Authors at traditional publishing houses can get lost in a crowd of other authors, as traditional publishers focus on their biggest stars at the expense of everyone else. But we treat every author as a star – and every author gets our attention.
  • We help you beat the odds. We make the publication of each title an event, so you'll be on your way to having a bestselling title, which will help you, your business and your brand.


It's possibly the only opportunity you have to see your book on a "Best Seller"list. The truth is, most traditional publishers see too much risk in committing their resources to marketing a new author.

Self-publishing is an option but does not meet the distribution requirements for best seller status.

Co-publishing combined with a proven marketing system is the easiest way to get where you want to be.
